Falling to Sleep Naturally
Do you have trouble falling to sleep? Have you resorted to sleeping pills? Eventually our bodies become used to the pills and soon they don’t work anymore. Also, not being able to sleep has adverse effects on us also. It can mess up our metabolism and create inflammation. Scientists have found that its most important for us to form bedime habits so that our bodies know its time to sleep. Doing things like establishing a regular bedtime, taking some quiet time before crawling into our beds, putting our worries and concerns aside and making sure our bedrooms are dark and quiet all will encourage a good night’s sleep.
If we still need some help having a cup of chamomile or passionflower tea will often help us to end our day in a calm manner. Some of the supplements that can promote sleep and relaxation are valerian and lactium ( we can get this by drinking a glass of warm milk ). The milk helps babies sleep well and will do the same for us.
